• Years ago (nope – not saying how many years) I used to make an effort to make the man who would become my husband breakfast every day. I worked nights, so it was fun to be able to take care of him a ittle in the morning, as when I got home late at night he was always waiting up to take care of me.

As the time I would pot what I made for him every morning on my facebook page, sometimes with a photo, sometimes not. His breakfast developed a little following. I broke up with social media several years ago (it wasn’t me, it was them), but Booth and I are still going strong. With a 13 year old kid and different busy jobs, making breakfast every day has fallen by the wayside and become a special occasion as opposed to a daily way of telling him I love him and trying to start his day off feeling good, body and soul.
So, I decided to start a blog this year in hopes of holding myself accountable for breakfasts in our house again. I may not be able to make something every day, but I will share what I can do. I might post a photo, a description of a meal, a link to a great recipe or a confession regarding pop tarts.
A NOTE ABOUT MY BREAKFAST: I used to have diet coke for breakfast, my taste is more sophisticated now, I have evolved to coke zero for breakfast.
